I've got a ton of movies that I'd like to encode for PS3, iPod and PSP. I know I can stream to the PS3 over my network, but is there a format that could work for all of them?

I've been using PSP Video 9 and for a time, that seemed to work but it seems like it downgrades the quality of the video somewhat. I tried PS3 Video converter (also from red kawa) and then the movies were incompatible with the PSP.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Use Xvid4psp.
You can convert compatible movies that will work on both consoles, onlt part being, while viewing them on your PSP (720x480) they will look out of aspect, heres the catch, you have to convert at this res in order for the movie to look well streamed to your PS3.
480x272 does not look well blown up on a big screen.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Any recommendations on the best settings (HQ, not HQ, etc). I've got it on the 2P ultra right now and it seems to be ok. I'd like to get a little more quality if possible. Using this settings seemed to drop the quality of the video a little.

Any of the best settings, (which i recommend you use) gives ultimate quality, it will take awhile to encode (best leave overnight) then it also depends on your PC.
There is certain settings i cant use because my PC is an oldie (not for long).
So its really up to you, are you willing to wait? or just get er done!
