I plan on purchasing a ps3 very soon. Ive been using my parents computer to go online, but now i want my own way to go on. I want to put the ps3 in my bedroom, but my parents computer is on the complete opposite side of the house. Is there any possible way id be able to connect my ps3 to the internet even though their computer is on the other side of the house? Would i have to purchase anything extra beside the ps3? I do not want a wire or a bunch of wires running throughout the house if i dont need them, seeing as how it would be hard to walk around. What are all my options and in your opinion, my best option? Any info on this would greatly be appreciated.

You need a wireless router if you don't already have one. It connects to your modem and sends out a signal so you can connect your PS3 to the internet without any wires. They usually aren't very expensive depending on the quality you get.
Well its not really a big house. The computer is in my dining room because our living room is a little small. From the dining room, you walk through this small hallway into the living room, and on the left, theres my room. So its not really that big.
It doesnt sound like you would have connection problems with a router then.
Though I could give you a more assured yes if I had the distance between your room and where the router is going to go, and whether or not you house is a timber frame or a metal frame (you will probably have to ask you parents about those).
