need help w/my ps3. some dude sold me his 60gb ps3 & everything works fine w/ no problem except when i try to go online w/ nba 2k8 its registered on his email & password. i cant seem to change it & he left for italy already & i dont know where to contact him coz he doesn't reply to my emails,any ideas how i can change it so i could use my own email address & password? thanks in advance!

Go into settings and reformat the HDD, then you will have essentially a fresh PS3.

It is safe, but it will erase your game saves. However you can copy most if not all of your game saves to a flash drive.
