Upgrading PS3 from 40gb to 60gb

I've had a 40gb for awhile since i couldnt find a 60gb.. Well i finally found a 60gb in a local game store that is new.. might as well be brand new but it isnt in a box but it hasnt ever been played... I was wondering if it was smart to trade in my 40gb +$200 to get the 60gb while i have the chance. Plus i was going to upgrade the hdd soon to either a 160 or a 250 depending on if i have the money for them or not and i was wandering on an opinion on either of these....

Why is the 60gb PS3 the best? What's the difference besides bigger hard drive? Or did I miss something here?

@ Troten why pay extra $200 to upgrade to 60gb, just go and purchase a 320gb about $130 some dollars at microcenter (don't know if the sale is still on or not) and replace the 40gb with it.

Not much difference except that the 60GB can play PS2 games I guess. So it might just be better upgrading HDD.

While the 60/20 gig have the best b.c., it seems the 60 gig is the sku having the most hardware problems. I've been looking to pick up a used 60 gig until recently. I would not have given a nearly new 40 gig + $200 for a second hand 60 gig.

Thanx for the input... well I took my chances and traded for the 60gb.. I went and talked to the people (good friends of mine ^^) and they said it was in the back of a warehouse for a while and as soon as they found it it was sent off to sony. They got it back and there wasnt anything wrong with it... But if somethings happens I can just send it to sony to get it fixed free and still have my 60gb so it should be fine. What the 40 cost me plus 200$ is about what I would have paid back when I was going to get my 60 anyways so it isnt a loss to me as long as it stays running fine ^^.
