if you are on N** look in the eko folder there is a cdf file with scousers name on it in there put that on your box and you should be sorted

Hi All,

I have recently updated me box with the new software and followed all the steps and everything worked fine but i have noticed that a good few of the channels dont work anymore.

Has anyone else had this problem? Basically when you go onto the channel its just a black screen and nothing comes up.

How can i fix this? Please help!!!!

some of the channels have moved to 418.250 so manually add that and you should find them

You could try pressing the red button and updating your channels and see will that work or if you are on N** go to the eko site there is a cdf file with scouser name on it you could try putting that on your box you should get around 134 channels on your box area dependent of course

Yeah as soon as i created the new one i went and done a new scan and i am getting the normal amount of channels (130+)

The problem i have is when i actually go onto one of these channels it's just a black screen where before i updated the software the channel used to work.

I never use this site before so im not familiar with alot of the sites and stuff, where is the eko site?

There is a lot of freq changes in the N** areas so until we get the freq you will just have to be patient

TRy this first Manually scanning channels.
Press menu, Installation, User installation, Enter pin,
Then press ch edit (green button)
Then press Add (red button)
Use the v arrow on the remote change the frequency to 418.25 change the Symbol rate to 6887 press ok repeat this process for 371 exit once press ok on the frequencies you just added then press manual scan the staions will appear at the end of your channel list delete the ones that dont work any more

That firmware is for fixing the boxes that have an 8% problem not giving you an extra 8% i suggest you reflash with the 18/4/08 and you should get them after you rescan or take your channel file off it

possible your signal is to strong now that can also be a problem
