ps3 60gb australian ps3 freezing

has anyone encountered games freezing, or blu ray discs not loading.

mine is currently doing it and don;t know how to fix it,,i recently upgraded to the 2.30am firmware and now im experiencing this.
playing guitar hero 3 online freezes after a few mins,motorstorm freezes, etc

i was advised by resetting it to default settings witll fix it,,tried it and it still freezes here and there

My US 80GB didn't read blu-ray discs sometimes and I had to exchange PS3's by contacting Sony. Works now.

did they give u a brand new 80gb???i called sony and i have the 60gb version and they said they would give me a refurbished one if it plays up again,,i want a brand new one coz i bought mine as brand new and they better give me the 60gb version(im from australia by the way)
