Anyone know how to use a mac as a hub for a ps3 i'm using version 10.4.11 and have set up a sharing connection but cannot get it to work anyone advice anyone and i am using a straight through cable from the mac to the ps3

Yeah you need to set your mac's IP address as the proxy address on your PS3. You also need a crossover cable running from your PS3 to your mac. The straight cable runs from your mac to your modem/router.
