Well i just updated to the new dvd shrink 3.1.2 and I was burning my Enemy at the Gates dvd today. I did all the ripping and stuff and this new shrink burns by itself. When i was finished with everything it showed me the time progress and it took around
2 1/2 hours to compress and burn the disc. I was shocked how long it took. I was doing my godfather dvd like 2 weeks ago with version 3.0 beta 5 and it took like only 45 or 50 min to do everything. Both dvd's were around the same GB size too. Hmmm.... Did anyone notice this?

Sounds like you used Deep Analysis before you burned. Deep Analysis has always taken a lot more time since it was introduced in 3.0beta. Myself, I don't use it and I burn at my leisure w/ Nero 6, not at Shrink's. I'm a "control freak."

Try turning off Deep Analysis.

Yea thx RWG. I'll try that. But i also found that if you go to preferences in DVD Shrink 3.1.2 it has an option that says something like run deep analysis and backup in low priority mode. I went to the official DVD Shrink site and looked at their prefence guide and they said if that option should only be checked if your computer overheats, and they said it also may make the analysing and encoding longer
