Hey, I'm having a big problem with burning a game backup for a game the is now scratched and won't read. I have my xbox 360 modded with the latest Ixtreme fw, and my backup is Ixtreme compatible (as shown ticked in XDVDMulleter). When i try and burn the backup in its origional state with stealth and Ixtreme compatible, IMGBurn and Clone CD come up with fatal errors.

I am using an LG DL burner and DVD+R DL, MR.DVD dvds, which cost me $40 so I do not with to throw them out without trying all solutions.

The log for IMG Burn for the fatal error is:

But if I rebuild the ISO (DVD9 with stealth and xtreme compatible in XDVDMulleter), it seems to burn fine, but I get a blank screen for a few seconds and then "cannot read disk" error returned by the 360. But if I check the rebuilt ISO with XDVDMulleter, the Ixtreme compatible box is not ticked.

I have already made 11 coasters from this and am getting a bit annoyed, so if someone would help, I would be most appreciated.

p.s. I have tried researching this for 2 days now, but cannot find a solution.

p.s,again. I have tried this in 2 computers with totally different burners and still doesn't work.

Thanks in advance,
Nexo.

some things to try:

1. make sure your burner has the most up to date firmware
2. make sure your burner is set in system manager to burn using DMA mode
(you can do this byu going to start->control panel->system->hardware tab->device manager button->go to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
click the plus sign beside it
check each of the primary and secondary IDE channels listed there by right clicking on them and choosing properties, then under the advanced settings tab check to see that they are set to DMA mode.

also have you tried running a DVD ID check program, getting the disc ID, and looking it up on the internet to see what your actually using? From what i can see by that log your discs are not really high quality

a lot of those posts with that media ID you can tell are problems with burning.
RICOHJPN-D00-01 that is the ID if you did not know
