Okay since the previous thread was rudely closed and now I have to start new thread right where we left off. I found a site that makes ps3 cases but they require you buy a ps3 pre-assmebled like that or you send it in to them and thought I should mention it here is the site.

Pretty cool cuz u get to make your own!!

Maybe get a cheap parts PS3 from ebay and just use the case and sell the rest of the components to make up the cost.

yea, colorware if def. pricey. i say put it in a computer case, it would be cool and you could fool a lot of people on youtube with a "computer that runs ps3 games" video.

well that would be pretty cool but i'm kinda goin for the ps3 "look" but don't want black but a color of my choice since this is so hard to get right i'm probably just gonna have to wait for xcm to make thier own cases

I'm not sure how much you want it to look like a PS3, but gutting old VCRs and stuff makes for cool cases. I threw my old P3 into a VCR that we chopped up and it made for a pretty sexy media center until we got bored. Just look at what it would fit in. I think making your own case is the way to go especially if you're on a budget. It's always fun building crap for your computer. Pressing rewind to turn on your PS3 would be awesome.

yeah I know I double posted I had no other choice and I would like it to look like a ps3 not a vcr or a computer because even though it's being built from used ps3 parts I still want to preserve its life.

idk I sure wish they did though, I've been waiting and praying for someone to finally come out with aftermarket cases for the PS3. I've been wanting a clear blue case ever since I saw the ones for the PS2.

Send xcm an email you mean? If you get a response from them on PS3 cases if you would post the contents of the email on here I'd really appreciate it as I'd like to know why the heck no one has come out with a case yet; I mean the wii has had custom cases for at least 8 months now so time can't be the reason.
