Morgan all i can say is if you can reflash your box and get a channel dump from the eko site for your box and put that on and see will it cure it if not defo tuner problems that the box has

Done this. There is no sign of life from the box. No Progams are found on any automatic scan or on any manual codes that I have. As I said I suspect there is something internal wrong with the box. Because the cable and scart are working fine on the other box that I have. They receive a signal. I replaced the connector and have made sure that everything is tightly in place. The box was working and I'm sure that I have connected up everything correctly as I did when it was working.

Pretty sure my affair with the box is over, unless one of the good people on here have a idea. Thanks for all your help. The frustration is beginning to get the better of me.

Dont have the null modem required to reflash. Tempted to cut my losses at this stage and not get one to be honest. Sick of switching at this stage and another week of it waiting for something that is to all intents and purposes a shot in the dark. Sorry if I appear unappreciative, its quite the opposite, just that I'm particularly frustated with it tonight. Apologies for that. Thanks for all contributors help on this. It really is a great helpful and friendly site. Just not making any progress on this.

If anyone could recommend a vendor of it would be hugely appreciated again. Maybe where i got mine wasnt the most reliable. Maybe I should give up trying to stick it to the man....

Hi there,
I have a cloned starview one and have updated it with the latest firmware.everything was working fine until this week when a number of channels including most of the music channels are now appearing blank.ive checked all cables and turned on the box.ive re-scanned all channels,checked emu etc but nothing seems to work.have Nt*ell changed frequencies for some of the channels?is anyone else experiencing these problems?are there any solutions?

Im in a similar position to morgan. My box has worked fine for nearly 3 months. This evening I've noticed a lot of channels get the 'channel has moved, wait for saving' message then after a few seconds the channel appears again. However a good few channels get the 'no signal' error or 'scrambled or bad signal' error. Most of the channels are working so its not a connection problem. Setant@ sports 1 and more4 are examples of whats not working. I have checked and the EMU is turned on, have powered off/on the box and still the same channels get the same errors. Is this the start of long death for my box or is just a case of nthell changing around channel positions and/or dropping channels? Thanks for the feedback in advance. bye the way im in the dublin 6 area if thats any help. Thanks

Hi some channels such as film 4 discovery science are coming up "scrambled or bad channel" anyone know why or how to fix them?

Some ch@nnels have been moved around during a frequency change

Delete the channels that are not working and then do an autoscan, they will then reappear at the end of your ch@nnel list.

Thanks for the replies about the missing channels, I did the manual scan and replaced most of the moved channels but my box also stored all other channels that were on that freq so ended up with 3 or 4 copies of same channel. In the end I just deleted all channels and ran an auto scan. I also seen some rubbish channels like 'CDL HW????' - are these just bad signals the box is picking up?

nope they are for the cc boxes only they wont work on other boxes as they are only data information for their boxes you can get rid of them if you want

Where can I find suitable firmware for it. I cannot locate 7.05 firmw@re for THE SUPR B0X in Eamo's library.

Hello again i got some of the channels back through manual scan but the 394.250 freqency is not working so i'm still missing Kiss, Kerrang, Magic and a few more. Any helpers on this?
