What is better and faster DVD Shrink 3.0 or 3.1

i have both and i wondered whats better. when you open a file 3.0 beta does it faster i think. Any thoughts?

....aslo when you use automatric compression is 49% to high, like will it distort video or causes square blotches. Because Im doing x-men and on Automatic without removing french spanish and what not it gets down to 4.7gb at 49.2% auto compression. I havent burned it yet so im wondering. Also thats in DVD Shrink 3.1. Shoudl i use shrink 3.1 or 3.0

use 3.1, they're both about the same speed, but 3.1 has some more features and bug-fixes, and about the compression: 49% should be alright, just watch it on your pc before you burn it, and also, are you keeping the menus and extras, and do you really need the spanish and french soundtracks, you'll get better quality if you burn just the movie with one audio and one subtitle stream(though subtitle streams really are insignigicant, so don't worry about them)

elven_07, That 49% compression is kind of low and may cause playback problems. Most members try to get that at 60% or higher. Without using re-author feature, remove the foreign audio tracks,then click ratio on the extras and menu. Drag the slider down to the left as far as it will go to help bring the main movie % up. This is about as much as you can do without re-authoring and keeping menu active.
