just read through the restr of the thread and you will find your answer, enteehell may well have got the better of most current boxes and it may be a while before a new solution is found, but just keep reading the forum pages and as soon as the solution is found, this is where you will find it.

Hi there...sorry if I did something wrong in communicating in this forum.I'm still vey very new in this.Really desperate to get help coz just got brand new genuine Starview 4 Super USB yesterday but seems got a problem in scanning...stuck halfway.My Vir... area code is 05 n my provider supposed to be TW but still couldn't get thru.Tried default factory setting but still no progress.Hv tried with other provider,still couldn"t.Can someone help me on this???

The box wont have the software loaded, you will have to flash it before it can work, before the purchased it would have said, or sup pied the lead and CD.

Hi Interat...now I understand.Is there anywhere that I can find the software to download.There was no lead or CD been given to me.PLz advice...anyway,thanks a lot.

i can help you where do you live in the uk
I can tell you where to get the s/ware and the lead, but if you live in scotland i can do it for you free.

you dont need a lead, you use a the usb in the back and use a memory stick to transfer files onto it

You will find a guide at the 1st link marked Starview, have a read of that, then go into Eamo's FTA Library and you will get what you want/need Firmware etc. even help files. As said you do not need a lead (no port for one anyway) you will need a USB memory stick, both links at the bottom of my post.

Sorry for the late response..my friend's father passed away. Drop by to comfort the family. Anyway,managed to download the software and everything went thru well...thanks very much.Really appreciate your help very very much...My kids really enjoyed themselves...
