lets list some must have games up to date, lets see what u think is worth spendin money on and what u need to have ...

MGS4 and COD4 are the only games that I feel are must haves.
I honestly think that I wasted my 70 bucks on gta4, I should have just rented it.

Correct. GTA4 was not worth a 10 and not worth the money for purchase IMO. Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4 are must haves. It really depends on what you like. I personally would also go with Devil May Cry 4 and Uncharted:Drakes Fortune. I like a collection and the 4 I've mentioned should be in any collectors collection.

Loads of people hate GTAIV lool
I think its a great game but not worth 10/10 maybe 9. It doesnt offer the same freedom you got in San Andreas imo.
For me its:
COD4
GTAIV
MGS4
Pes2008
and perhaps... Singstar (only good when drunk around friends tho :P)

i must say i have to agree,i bought gta4 & honestly i hated it,it just wasn't my cup of tea but sayn that the little brother loved it he's 17 (great game for that age bracket imo) so i sold it to him so i dit'nt lose out on any money. :)
my top five ps3 titles would be:
1.msg4
2.dmc4
3.drakes fortune
4.resistence fall of man
5.fear
im sure i'll be adding to this shortly especcially when tekken6 hits the shops,i heard mid sep i could be wrong though.any1 know if this is the release month?

Oh yeah. What has happened with Tekken 6? I saw the trailer like last year and havent looked back since. I was addicted to tekken 5 on ps2 once.

IMO Tekken 6 is going to be the worst in the series. Knockdown bounce, rage mode, weapons, projectiles. They have taken all things that weren't in tekken that made the game so good and put them in Tekken 6. Maybe I'm judging a little early because I haven't played the arcade version yet. Give us Tekken fans what we want and give us Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

erm I only have 2 games GTA4 which I bought and Ratchet and CLank which came free, R&C is still sealed and unopened, so I have to say GTA4 :P

ooZEROoo i loved tekken5 still do IMO the best since tekken3(best in series) i love to play a few games with you.only one thing i have an eircom wireless router but i cant seem to set the ps3 to scan for it in my home. any chance you could help me out on this matter.

Have you started a thread on it? Your ps3 doesn't pick it up at all? Do you have the right security settings? I'm confused as to why you don't even pick up your router. Start a thread on it so you can leave this one on topic and we will see if we can't help you out.

I'll name only five since these kinds of lists can be endless:
1- MGS4
2- COD4
3- MLB08 the Show (if you're a baseball fan)
4- GTA4
5- Rock Band
Coincidentally, that's probably in order for me. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune should be on there, but I thought it was too short. Otherwise, that's a classic that every action/adventure fan should play. Because it's so short, and there was no online, I sold it to a friend of mine after playing through it twice.
I don't think I'll be trading in any of the top 5 listed.
And yes I agree that GTA4 didn't deserve a 10 by IGN. It probably isn't the best GTA either but it is a great entry in the franchise. My biggest complaint about it was the deplorable, almost unbearable framerate/slow down during action sequences and clipping. I dunno how in the world IGN said those issues didn't hinder gameplay. I'm digressing.
Those are my 5 games.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

in my opinion i i would say:
-COD4
-MGS4
-GTA IV
-DMC4
and Resident evil 5 when that releases, whenever it releases i think its suppose to be around sometime in 2009 but for me its a must have whenever it drops.

the only must have game is rock band because its the only game where you HAVE to own it to play it. I dont say guitar hero because once you own rock band you can play guitar hero with rock bands guitar.

I'm definitely gonna be picking up RE 5. Unless the reports on it are terrible, this will probably be a launch day pickup for me (as was MGS4 and GTA4).

The single greatest statement regarding Tekken. Tekken Tag 2 FTW! As for top PS3 games I'm going with:
-GTA4
-MGS4
-Battlefield: Bad Company (June 23rd)
The bad company demo was great and whats cooler than blowing a whole in a building with an RPG and going through it, instead of going around.

Lol perhaps. I went back to play tekken tag after a long obsecion of Tekken 5 and thought that it sucked. I loved it at the time though :D
