try switching socket for coaxial cable and power off box then on and see if no signal comes up,and i pressume the n*l socket is marked tv not radio

some sockets on wall give you 2 outputs 1tv and 1radio for your tuner amp

the n*l soket is for tv it dosent says radio...it just nxt to n*l phoneline....

The firmware you have is only FTA you need to flash the box.

that should be ok 6.00ee will let u access emu whereas 6.00e is freeview that right scouser? lol,i still think it is inactive cable,try it around in a mates house that is subscribed and if it works there box is ok
on the other hand if scouser says wrong firmware i wont argue as he knows best [ ps i dont want to piss him off not just yet lol ]
