Hi there, using the box super, (starview 3)and i had loaded 7.09 onto it, it worked for less than a week and nothing since, wont pick up any channels

Try 8.00 if it doesn't work use 7.09.

Hi folks, hope all is well. Got a Starview 3 Superbox recently and I'm having problems. I have looked thru' this site and have tried everthing[I think] you folk have reccomended.
Currently my box has;
API ver:7.09e_E
BootVer:8.0
First of all I downloaded Starview 3 The Box Super GTRom v8.00e and followed the instructions, automatic scan on N tl, switched emu to on and set the default key.
My problem is, when I exit out to get to the channels it is on SkSports 1 and the message info: data is being updated...[0%]. It just stays there, nothing else happens.
I have reset factory settings and still no joy. I tried the 7.09 version and still no joy.
When I check the epg all channels are scrambled[$] exceppt for Setanta Ireland and the city channel
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Sorry I did see it in your other post but just checking ;) Did you get it in Eamos? After you factory reset did you turn the emu back on. Strange one if you did.

I got them by downloading the chatterbox cc toolbar.
Just so you know, I'm on MMDS and when the scan is running the channels show up with the $ sign, is that normal?
Yeah I turned emu back on after the factory reset. Tis wrecking me head.

Right, I'm freaked out!!!! All is good now.
I gave it one more go with the factory reset, but the only thing I did differenty this time, was I didn't turn the box off at the back.
After the reset it brought me to the Select Language and I just went from there.

I said a prayer :) If you turn off the box from the power it will turn the emu off in most cases.

Hello,
just wondered if anyone could help,i have a super box 3 and am experiencing problems like everyone else,but as of today on premium channels i am getting the message "bad/scrambled channel" instead of the "updating data" message( which i managed to clear this morning).any ideas???

I have tried inputting it all manually, correct provider (in fact i tried all when en te el didnt work), turned emu off, i have the super. Still nothing. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Another thing when i checked this morning i had the message "updating data" again,so i tried updating manually, and now i've gone back to "bad/scrammbled channel" ????

What box is it you have is it a Starview 3 the Box Super, because that is the thread you are in, if so then you can upgrade your firmware with the fix, out today, make sure you get the correct one with todays date on it - it as been moddified.

Get the fix out of Eamo's Library at the bottom of my post, click on the box super and then you will see it the 2nd folder down The Box Super Fix with todays date alongside.
