Check to make sure your feed is pluged in the RF in and not the ANT socket at the back if that doesn't work check your original subbed box to see if your feed is live.

If it is a new box then you will only receive FTA channels, it needs to be flashed with the firmware, so go to the link Eurovox Flashing Guide under HiTeck's post and follow the guide, "On First Page Of This Thread.

I have just recieved my eurovox ex5000 today, after reading your helpful thread i have downloaded the firmware and will install tomorrow when I get the cable. One big problem is I cannot access the hidden menu that I have read about elsewhere. I know that this may not be needed (tried pressing menu and press yellow or go in to languages and enter 1968) but does this mean my box is faulty??? Getting a bit worried I may have bought a dodgy box but the company I bought from seem reputable. Please any help would be appriciated. Again thanks for the helpful thread........ Ken

Have you flashed the box? when you say downloaded firmware, do you mean that you have dowloaded it onto the PC? and that you are going to get a NULL MODEM lead tomorrow?

HELP!! my EV 5000 today keeps coming up with message: "Please wait: code being updated...", and stays that way. I've tried Factory reset and rescanned, but then am only picking up 1 TP, and even that is not showing, with the same message coming up. Any ideas what is wrong? Would appreciate help soon,
Thanks

Lets hope this thread doesn't get closed down.
I think we now know the auto updates no longer work, but as asking for codes is banned then everyone will have to wait until a fix is sorted out.
Keep up the good work you guys.

Guys

Can you read what it says in the thread title just in case you cant here it is again,

Eurovox Flashing Guide ****DONT ASK OR TALK ABOUT CODES******. I dont have the facility to make it flash so the bold red writing will have to do.

Any info regarding this is here,
