Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

The difference in the UK, is that there is more than one supplier.

In Ireland it is only YOU PEE CEE

Everyone you'll find if your in Dub there's no amount of flashing will fix. Those channels are gone to nagra 3. Read elsewhere on the forum it will explain.

Hi all,

I've been following the thread as closely as possible and I'm a little confused. I'm in N*L Dublin with the black EuroVox Max V 2008 model which has now lost all the aforementioned channels.

It seems from the discussion that most boxes 'could' be patched to handle the new N2 encryption but only the ARNET KRYPTVIEW EVOLUTION A750 boxes actually have a fix which means I either have to wait for a fix for my EuroVox to come out or buy a Kryptview. The consensus seems to be that all other box manufacturers aren't going to put the resource into a fix which won't generate new income for them (if they issue if FOC to existing box owners) and/or they are waiting becuase they think N*L's move to N2 is just an interim step which will be upgraded to N3 by the end of the year. If thats true then they would be wasting time fixing N2 for such a short period of time.

So what's the best solution? Wait and wait and wait for either EuroVox to produce a fix for N2 or for N3 to happen and EuroVox to produce an N3 capable box? I'm guessing the latter will be 12-18 months away and they may never invest in an N2 fix so why not bite the bullet now and get a Kryptview? If it does the trick for 6 months it will have delivered a good return on investment. Anything longer will be a bonus.

Have I missed something? Is the ARNET KRYPTVIEW EVOLUTION A750 the right box to get?

Regards,

Ben

Still no progress on a fix to Nagra 3 I take it? I was told there yesterday that the Germans have been on Nagra 3 the last year and they still haven't come up with a solution. *Sigh*

Gary2005, what does the 750 do that the A700c doesn't do? Where's the best place to buy a Kryptview in or for delivery to Dublin?

Because your on Ch0rus. The other people missing those channels you'll find are on nthell. It's perfectly normal that yours is working.

I feel I've been really lucky. I first got a dodgy analogue box in 1996 and only switched to a SV when all the channels started going off. I would sign up for satellite if they allowed it in my building though
