I was foolish to update my red eurovox max without fully reading this thread and lost quite a few channels including Setanta. I only updated to remove the choppy sound and picture glitches I was getting on setanta and e4.

Anyway I'm in the east midlands NTL area and what I did was from the bigmaq toolbar I downloded all the updates for the red box and went through them one by one from the earliest (March 2007) through to the November (2008).

The June 2007 did the trick the file is called EUROVOX_MAX_RED_BOX_01_06_07.bin.

All my channels are back and setanta is choppy but with a attenuator its working fine so no choppy glitches.

They're not going to accept it back mate. Once you try to put ANY software on/flash you box you void any warranty and/or consumer rights. You're stuck with it either way.
