Its a common problem and discussed quite a bit on here already.
Courtesy of Sc0user ;)
1. Set time using GMT.
2. Go to installation, user installation.
3. Press red button to preform an autoscan.
4. When autoscan completes, IMMEDIATELY go to time settings again.
5. Make sure time is still correct.
6. Turn GMT off.
7. Press blue button to save and exit.

Hi all
Havent been on for a while but wanted to thank everybody for all there help since ive been coming on here and great to get a fix for the ex 1000sl.Keep up the good work its much appreciated .

thanks hiteck will give that a bash.still think krypt is less hassle as sorts itself out but misses loves the sl interface.and even when shes wrong shes right.

Hi all,
i flashed the ex1000sl and it seems im only picking up 1 transponder im getting about 10 channels.
has anyone else had the same problem i have flashed the box about 3 times im thinking of entering the transponder freqs manually after that im going be running out of ideas.
its a long time since i have been toying around with the boxes i done the usual emm on symbol rate 6.887 etc can anyone think of something that i may have left out.

i got the same result after flashing the "fix" (1 trans & 10 channels in North Kildare), thought i may be using the wrong symbol,which did you use ? not tried the deep scan yet,as its a 2 hour job apparently, will do to night though.

I downloaded this ;
NAGRA 2 FIX EX1000 SL IRELAND Updated (21-07-09),
run it all as described, and still only the 10 channels,
is doing a "deep scan" required. ! or am i missing something else.
Im not familiar with the eurovox,
Dream is the one !

did you factory reset first and then re-scan? remove any splitters and connect to the cable directly as close to the cable entering into the house.

Done as instructed by hiteck tut'
the eurovox is connected to exactly the same cable as the dreambox 500c,the main feed to house,
500c works perfectly on this cable,so far!.

I answered a similar query you had a few days ago it related to the Max V http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/e..._or_no-785472/. But the scanning principle remains the same for the 1000SL or any other Eurovox in your area on Ch**us cable.
However after giving you the info you never gave any feedback?

Thanks, im kinda busy with work and also getting a lot of people asking me to take a look at various boxes for them, its all gettin a bit much, should have stuck to dreamboxes only.Iv just got the hang of them, thanks to the help of users here, including yourself,
but trying to learn about new boxes at the same time, keeping up with my own job, post and reply to all threads, search for answers etc etc ,kinda all gets confusing sometimes and it takes a few days to get around to going back to some up-dated threads.
So my appologies ,but i do hope you understand, i dont work infront of a PC screen all day, i do get limited access during the day and then at home in the evening, that is after ,i have dinner,get showered and changed, do the usual stuff required of a husband and father of 3 young kids, then if i am still able to stay awake ,ill log onto AFTERDAWN.COM for a little bit of info, in order to help out some friends ,and maybe, who knows, pass on a little bit of help and knowledge to someone else using the site too.
i do appreiciate any help or info given .

go get the channel dump file from the eamos library m8 scouser has it in the eamos library under his name

Its out of date Gary sorry :( I will ask for it to be removed or at least moved into the archives. Any one with an updated CDF or CDFs could post them here or on a dedicated thread and I am sure they will be gratefully accepted :)

Is it m8 i used it on me m8s ex1000 yesterday an all was fine anyways ill try get an updated 1 up later
