hit menu 1570 and the secret menu will show up. Emu is at the end.

excuse my ignorance but will this work for starv!ew 1
i have a genuine original starv!ew box and last time i was on afterdawn forums there was fixes for all the other boxes but not sv 1.
is there a fix now?

How do you sort the channels into the proper categories if they are all over the shop?

evastar i tryed to put the uk file in the starview 1 box like you said,i downloaded it but when i try to call it up its not there even though its in my documents.any help would be great.

I think you can. When I first got the box I had this problem until my girlfriend sat on the remote one evening and they all sorted into the proper categories like sports movies etc!

if its starview 1 or 2 yes you can go to channel edit(green buton)move(red button)or just get girlfriend to sit on it again lol

Its not a Starview I dont think its a DV3. The green and red buttons dont seem to do anything and I have got my girlfriend to sit on it again but no joy!

I think he meant get her to sit on the remote!!
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

put new firmware on sv1 two days ago and tryed to autoscan as a lot of channels were not working picked nothing up on scan same on friends the box .have autoscan about 100 times nothing at all so i done sw transfer from sv1 with channel data on have half the channels the rest say no signal anyone have this problem as i know lots of people who have in dublin

Got a sv 2 box, it has been working ok since fix came out, switched it on today and no channels except fta ones,,, rescanned, no joy,,, did factory, reset reloaded firmware etc, rescanned,, set emu to on.. no joy, only fta channels. anyone got any ideas, Thanks in anticipation

Hi, please can anybody help. I have a starview 1 box which I updated with the latest fix and was working perfectly. Then on Christmas Eve when I switched the box on it just says 'bad or scrambled channel' on all except terrestrial tv. I have tried to put firmware on again but no joy. I also have a starview 3 box which I updated and is working fine, but on the same day as my starview 1 went down, when I first switched on, this box started to do 'data updating' and seemed to stick at first but then kicked in and is ok. Any ideas on what I can do with my Starview 1 box?? Thanks

Menu > 1570
Turn emu on
Go to set default key > press ok
Exit to s*y two & let it update.

from blank screen press menu 1.5.7.0. turn emu on if its on already then put your box on to sky 2 it should update
