Hi,
Same sort of thing here too. This is a message I posted into another forum...
Hi All,
I've got TVersity and everything is fine except that I have no idea of how I add a video feed.
At the moment I only have the YouTube and G4TV default feeds (that come with it) and I am unsure how to add any more.
What are .xml files and how do I obtain and use these for a feed?
If someone could give me a hand that would be great.
Cheers

Invinaty: I've been doing a bit of messing around with video feeds today and it seems pretty simple.
Open TVersity and click the + to add media.
Change the type of media to Video RSS and then find the URL for whatever feed you're trying to get and copy it into the Video RSS box.
Give it a name and you should be set to submit.
I've had decent results with leaving the rest on default settings (public: yes and transcode: N/A). TVersity then downloads the past few episodes and refreshes your library so you can watch them (which can take some time depending on file size)
Hope this helps you out, presuming you haven't figured it out already, haha

That's really strange, but I've heard of it happening to a few people. What are you trying to stream to? Have you already tried going through the start menu to the TVersity folder, TVersity tools and one of the "Start/Restart TVersity" options? Or could just be some kind of problem with settings, I have no idea.

Maybe try a different program? Some people say that Windows Media 11 isn't too bad, but I've never really given it a shot.

Do you mean a bluray rip file? If so then you can. Usually when I download them they're in .mkv format which won't play on the PS3, but I use mkv2vob and set it so that it never transcodes (or it will take a hell of a long time in my experience) add your file and output directory and let it mux it into a vob. It's worked for me pretty much every time, maybe one or two files I didn't have sound or video on, which is not too bad.
If that wasn't what you meant at all let me know

It looks like HD or Bluray for the most part. I've only been getting ones in 720p to conserve bandwidth (usually 4-6GB files, 1080p are much larger), but if you compared it side by side with the actual retail copy you might see a difference. As for the actual streaming I haven't noticed a drop in quality as long as you have a good connection, wired should be fine, or higher percent wireless. I've managed to position my PS3 so I get about 95-100%, so it's good now, but when I had it down around 60-70 it would pause and sometimes stop playing.
