I video chat daily with my boyfriend who lives in California. Most days are fine, but every so often I get an intermittent audio popping (like every 10 seconds, it's sporadic). It's annoying, and I'm sure it can't be good for my speakers.

I have all of my higher end equipment plugged into a power conditioner, so I'm pretty sure it's not a ground loop issue. Also, the fact that the popping doesn't happen every time sort of indicates this isn't the issue.

Which made me think maybe it's our connection. The connection at my end hovers around 480mbps, and his anywhere from 100-500mbps. Again, sometimes there's popping sometimes there isn't, but the connection speed doesn't seem to be a factor either.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

any other audio devices with a few feet. just may be simple interference.
