hey guys im back for some more advice.i recently bought an 8gb memory stick for downloading movies & music now all the music i have downloaded work fine but when i try to download movie files from joox i cant seem to play them on my ps3 even though there on the mem stick they wont show up when i insert it into my ps3 well apart from one which was cops that worked fine.i think the movies are in flash version(i dont really understand it to well) maybe the ps3 has problems playing flash movies i dont know,so is there anything that can be done so i can watch them on my ps3 cos theres a load of father ted episodes on joox & id love to have them on me ps3.any help would be appriciated!

I have never tried a flash video on the PS3.
For a start you may want to make sure your jump drive is formatted in FAT32.

Second create files named: VIDEO, MUSIC, PICTURES. These files are needed so the PS3 can understand what it is trying to find and read.

Third you may want to try the .avi files such as DIVX and XVID (these don't always work). VOB video files are great for HD video content.

Your MUSIC files can be played in mp3 format. This is the most common and thus easiest to use.

There are plenty of other playable files. You can do a quick search on AfterDawn or Google to find out the others.

i did that, fommatted it (fat32) made the three folders music video photo.i think i'll stay away from flash & stick with xvid & divx as i downloaded coloumbo last night divx format works great,great quality aswell.thanx for replying man appriciated!
