hi guys

ok i have a 60gb ps3 and really want to get it going online problem is my ps3 is on the 3rd floor of my house and i have a wired virgin media internet connection attached to my computer on the first floor

my question is what do i need in total to use the ps3's wireless capabilites i know i need a router but where does it go ? do i need to cahnge internet severice providers ? or just the router on its own please help im really confused

You just need the router, which will connect to your PC. Your PS3 will then connect straight to it.

Right now, you have a modem that came with your service. Right now, you are phisically connected from your modem to your computer. Buy a wireless router. Connect from your modem to the wireless router. Then phisicaly connect your PC to the wireless router (it has the connections on the wireless router). The PS3 will connect wireless.
