You probably can't just buy a 60GB case because the internal hardware is different. The 60GB hardware is built to have the card reader slots attached so it might not fit. I'm sure there are other differences too. If you cared that much about the chrome wouldn't it have just been easier to put more effort in buying a 60GB online?
If you still want a case I've seen them go on sale on ebay so you can run a search there if you still want it.

I have the 80GB with chrome but I still think the no chrome looks pretty cool. Plain and simple.

Then get it chromed then if the label is all you need done,it can be done whether it be plastic or alloy, you've seen badges on cars even tho they're plastic they can be chromed or gold plated or silver, you just need to contact a local electro plater or try a few car yards to find the person that has the tool to do it,it'll be a lot cheaper than a new case & will look pretty good if you use gold or ruby gold.My brother had that very tool,it's pretty freaky electro plating plastic..lol.

You can't just get card readers and extra USB ports. Of course you could use a USB hub and USB card readers. Really it sounds like you should just just sell your 40GB and get a 60GB or 80GB.

If only if things were that simple in Europe. Still no 80Gb consoles here!

Maybe sell one of the 40s and buy a PS2? Thats only if your looking for backwards compatibility. Its better on the PS2 anyways since it has the legacy memory card ports.

Ah. I guess then you'll need a USB memory card reader or USB hub.

You haven't read the rest of the post, where he lives you can't get an 80 yet and the 60s are ridiculously priced.
