I've got a problem with my PS3 or my TV one and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a 32" wide screen 720p TV and I have my ps3 hooked up via component cables. The reason I'm not doing HDMI is because my TV doesn't have it. About an inch or so all the way around the TV is cut off. For example in GTA4 the map on the left side is cut off into the health bar just a bit. I've tried different zoom modes on the TV and I can't get it to show the whole screen. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance,

Yeah I tried changing the resolution and everything and it still doesn't work. I'm beginning to think that it is something to do with the component cables because I have my PC hooked up the same way and it does it with the computer too. It doesn't really make any sense to me but that's why I'm on here :)

It may be that your 32" screen width is 1024 instead of 1366. 1366 is somewhat the standard but there are many 1024's out there.

That makes sense. I can't think of any other reason why it would cut off like that. Thanks for the help.
