I think he means all the games in one, not the ps3 special edition, and yes its 80gb.
If you have a 40gb PS3, then there is pretty much no hope in backwards compatability for ps2 games, some ps1 games may work, but sadly the 40gb's hardware is too forign from that of the ps2 for them to be compatable. If you have the 80gb then there is hope of backwards compatability, but only emulation (like the xbox 360) so some games simply won't work. The best ps3 that was marketed was the 60gb, it had both ps3 and ps2 hardware, so it was 100% backwards capable (kind've like buying a vcr/dvd player) but sadly it was discontinued...
