Playing DIVX ON PS3

Hi there,

Just wondering can I play cds/dvds with divx films on them on my PS3 or do I have to upgrade it (load a divx player) or install yellow dog linux? Tried playing divx already and had no results? is a firmware update necessary or am I doing something incorrectly.

You need firmware 2.10 or higher to do so.
