I hate the way the PS3 organizes files, Month-Year. I was messing with the menus and found out that you can change the way the PS3 organizes files by hitting Square []. Is this well known or not? I have not yet found anybody that knew about this.

About 99% of ps3 owners know this, i'd say the people you've talk to are the 1% that are clueless

yeah i would assume a lot of people know this because there are tips like that in the corner of the screen. did you know that if you press L1+square when entering a URL in the browser it deletes the whole URL. i just found this out recently.

No I didn't know that. You know that you can control your visual player with the right analog stick?
I'm new to all these PS3 things, I just got mine 2 weeks ago. The 80GB MGS Bundle :D

Did you know that for videos you can press triangle whist watching them and select 'change icon.' This will then give you a small video clip for all your video on your PS3 XMB?
I didn't and it looks ace once you've done it for all your clips!

Really? I hate all the icons my videos have, most of which have none for some reason.

Any other "secrets" inside the PS3?
I did find out this one.
I got my PS3 after the GT HD Concept free demo download was up so I couldn't download it. I knew my friend had downloaded it when it was available. To get that demo on mine I did:
1. Create a new user on the PS3.
2. Log into the other PSN through that user
3. Download whatever you have to
4. Go back to your user on the PS3
5. Install whatever you downloaded through your PS3
6. Delete the other user
And thats how I got GT HD Concept on my PS3 a week ago.

Controling the visualization takes a while, I did it with the road type one. You have to hold it down in 1 position for a while and it does something, pretty slow. It is working though. Try it with the earth one, it should zoom in/out or switch planets.
See my above post for downloading GT HD Concept. Yea, the link is just removed, the file is still there.

oh, then i guess i was doing it right, just not being patient enough.
As for the GT HD thing, thats weird, why would they take down the link. Its one of the best free demos in the playstation store imo.

I don't know, its stupid on Sony's part. Also, it isn't a demo, its a free game. GT HD was a game that Sony was making and then scrapped the idea for GT 5 Prologue. They released the whatever they had for free and called it GT HD Concept.
