Format ps3 Hard drive in windows?

Ok so i just upgraded my ps3 to a 250gb drive but what to do with my old 40gb one??

Windows disk management can't find it so i can't reformat it!

Can anyone adivse?

Problem solved.

I just tried it in another external hd caddy with external power other than just using the usb power.
