ok so here it goes............ive looked and looked and i know HOW to create my own custom xmb..........but there is not a walkthrough on how to install it on my ps3 all the videos i watched show ppl just clicking on their usb card and clicking install .......when i do that it says no THEMES... when i import my music this way i have to push triangle to open the PS3 folder but this is not an option for the themes.....i dont know what im doing wrong can some one please offer the exact information on how to get it on your ps3?........I AM RUNNING AN 80GB PS3 FIRMWARE 2.41 AND TRYING TO TRANSFER FROM A KINGSTON 2GB USB THUMB DRIVE. PLEASE HELP. PS LINKS ARE USEFULL IF YOU HAVE ONE I CAN READ ON MY OWN IF THER IS ALREADY A WALK THROUGH (NOT HOW TO CREATE BUT HOW TO "INSTALL") THANKS IN ADVANCE.

sorry dident know how to edit my post..but i would also like to know do i need to be running linux or some thing to install xmb's to the ps3?

You need to create 2 folders on your USB drive:

1st folder should be named PS3
2nd folder should be named THEME (this folder goes in the PS3 folder)

Any theme you download goes in the THEME folder, plug in the USB device and scroll over to settings and then scroll down to theme settings and click Theme, now scroll up to install and select your device and install your theme.

I understand that it has to be ....USB drive/PS3/THEMES/whateverthemeuhave.........but when i click on my usb drive it searches and says "no Themes found"
Thanks for trying anyways anyone got anyother ideas>?
