Newbie here...whats the best method to organize your media files? By media files, I mean mp3s, movies, photos, etc.
I have only uploaded a select from mp3s and some have album covers and some don't. How should I organize to they all are in the right folders, etc. Yes, I am pretty anal about this kind of stuff.
What about movies? Do I just need the mpg file? How could I organize them by genre?
What about pictures? Should I upload them by folder? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
When you're viewing the list of mp3's, videos, pictures, ect. Just push the square button and the PS3 will automatically order them by genre or whatever you want.
For Video, Games, and Photos, you can create albums by clicking on a file with triangle and going down to information. Select Album and then type in whatever you'd like. Matching albums will be placed together when you organize by album. I have about 40GB of music so I stream from my laptop but I organize by album name or artist typically. I have 22 games from the playstation store right now (none of these are demos) and I organize them by system of either Playstation 3 or my PSone games.
