Is there anyway to play a PSP game on a PS3 console?

And if not, is it theoretically possible for the PS3 to emulate the PSP?

Unfortunately not atm, though I'm sure the PS3 has the power to emulate the PSP. I sure would like to be able to play portables ops with a normal controller and not the PSP's stupid controls.

You should be able to hook the PSP up to the PS3 via USB and have that cable send the UMD Data to the PS3 and the PS3 process it. That way you can use the PS3 to play PSP games. Sounds logical, especially with CFW.

The psp having cfw is kind of irrelevant unless the ps3 is hacked as well.

Ah, my bad. But I still doubt that this will happen unless Sony takes it upon themselves to make it a feature.

I doubt they will since the USB Streaming feature could be used against them in a computer and it will drop sales of the new PSP with TV Out and increase piracy in games.
