I am making video clips of Dances With Wolves for my wife (she is a teacher) using reauthor in dvd shrink and then recoding to wmv files so she can show them on windows media player to her class. My question is when I have clips with the Indians speaking, the subtitles do not transfer over. I have tried right clicking on title 1 going to default streams and setting it to both the english subpictures but I still get no translation subtitles in my clips. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is not a DVD Shrink problem. This is a problem with the program you're using to convert to wmv with.

Thanks for the response. I do think it has something to do with shrink though. Even before I convert to mpeg if I watch the vob file using power dvd there are no subtitles and no option to turn subtitles on....I don't know what I am doing wrong here.

Open the clip with DVD Shrink or DVDSubEdit.
Does it list the subtitle?
