Thumpy, please don't hijack my call for help thread...
Yes you can make a backup of a backup. just rip an image and reburn.
If you need further help please start a thread of your own. Thanks!

to bad you dont own this forum. You made a thread that other people need the same help so get over it b***h. Also it is againt forum rules to make topics of the same question d**k, so read the rules.
Like I was saying I tried ripping the backup copy that no longer works using image burn (read). Around 50-60% it failed the read ripping process. Is there another way I can rip the image of my backup copy.
The issues I am having is that this backup use to work great all the time. There are no scratches, haven't played it more then 5 times. And now all of a sudden I put the game in, start the game, it says loading on the bottom right hand corner and then a white screen with green letters pop out saying look at the wii manual becaue the game doesnt start some crap like that. But all my other backups play great still, so I know its not my wii.
Thanks

Your question is totally different... your asking how to make a copy of a copy, AND i've seen this answered in other posts. You just havn't found them because your too busy violating my post to look at other posts.
But whatever. I'm really not in the mood to do battle with flamers today. So proceed to roll over my thread and divert attention to your un-related questions. I dont even care. And watch your mouth kid.

I open imgburn, click booktype, click the LG drive tab, and select DVD+R DL media... and it sais "failed yada yada" in the screen almost instantly. It seems odd that it does not consult the drive or anything... just brings up a failed message. Does this mean that my drive does not support it, or am i doing something wrong?
Did you have the DVD+R DL in the burner at the time you selected to booktype?

Yes it would.
Make sure the DVD+R DL is in when changing the booktype. If it isn't then it will give an error because it can not find the blank media to make sure it is a DVD+R DL.
