HI,
my ps3 stopped reading the discs so i bought a new lazer fitted that, but when you useally put a disc in a bubble in the right top corner comes up telling you its doing something but when i put a disc in theres no bubble is there a sensor somewhere i have knocked?

please help

have you checked the system settings, i think(not sure) there's a setting somewhere to change it to load your disc.

Aubrey,

It sounds like something wasn't connected correctly when you put it back together. If you're not getting the bubble the motherboard isn't seeing the drive at all. Hopefully one of the little ribbon cables is misaligned and it's an easy fix for you, but definitely double check all of the connections (and the 4-wire power one, I've actually missed putting that one back on a few times).
