I've been looking around at the tutorials everywhere and noticed they are all missing atleast some information that is vital.
I thought i'd make my own and try to help most people out.
Enjoy!

Requirements To Burn & Play:
1x DVD+R Dual Layer Burner (Capable of book changing)
1+ DVD+R DL CDS (Recommended: Verbatim Or Aone)
1x Firmware Flashed Or Chipped 360 (Recommended: IXtreme Latest Flash)
1x ImgBurn (Latest)
1+ Xbox 360 PAL = Europe, NTSC = North America, Region Free = Any console, ISO + DVD File (you can make your own dvd file, look at question 1).
1x Brain
Quick Notes:
DVD-R DL will not work as Layer Break is required, DVD-R DL doesn't have the feature to select Layer Break.
ISOS/GAMES/ROMS can be found in various torrent sites, (torrentz.com, piratebay.org)
Burning Speed should be between 2.4x - 4x, i burn at 4x on DVD+R DL Aone discs and they work perfect)
BURNING TUTORIAL
STEP 0:
Insert Blank DVD+R DL Disc into your drive
STEP 1:
Make sure you have all the requirements and have your iso + dvd ALONE in a folder
STEP 2:
Open up ImgBurn then click on Write Image File To Disc, click on the icon with the folder + magnifying glass
and open up your DVD FILE.
Step 3:
Change write speed to 2.4x or 4x (4x works for me)
Step 4:
make sure Test Mode and Verify are not ticked
Step 5:
Make sure destination says your DVD writers name and the writer that your disc is in and not some printer or whatever
Step 6:
Click the open book at the bottom right of imgburn
Step 7:
Find the name of the company that provided your burner, TSST is samsung btw.
Step 8:
Once youve clicked on the company, click Change For: and select DVD+R DL
Step 9:
NEW SETTING: DVD-ROM, click on change, it'll say SUCCESS! then click OK
Step 10:
Make sure Layer Break is set to 1913760, click on
Tools > Settings > Write - Layer Break (For DL Media)
USer Specified : 1913760 > OK (this will set it permanantly but you might want to double check every time)
Step 11:
Make sure all steps are covered, Verify and Test Mode are unchecked, Copies is set to 1 and Write Speed is either 2.4x (40+ mins) or 4x (20+ mins)
Step 12:
Click on that big icon below Verify and test mode of a document disc with an arrow next to it pointing to a disc, it means WRITE!
Step 13:
Wait for disc to finish burning, once finished, exit imgburn then eject disc, into 360 and hopefully, a smile on your face will shine on.
Question 1)
My rom/iso didn't come with a dvd file, what i do now?
A:
You can make your own dvd file, just copy and paste the example below into notepad and save into the directory your rom/iso/game is located,
save it as the name of your iso but instead of the .iso replace it with .dvd.
(e.g, your rom is called vivapinata.iso, copy n paste the below, (CHANGING THE NAME), and
save it as vivapinata.dvd.
e.g DVD File
gow.iso
Layerbreak=1913760
saved as gow.dvd
Question 2)
360 says disc cannot be read, ahhh what do i do??????
A:
Reburn with faster speed (4x) (worked for me =D) or recheck the steps to make sure you didnt mess anything
Question 3)
Your tutorial says a brain is required, is this vital?
A:
Yes
Question 4)
How do i chip/flash/break my 360?
A:
Not my thing, ask around.
Question 5)
Where can i purchase DVD+R DL Discs
A:
Look on eBay, everythings cheap on there, Verbatim 10 DVD+RDL discs are £10! while 10 AONE as £5!
Question 6)
What is a "book change"
A:
changing book type of the disc basically means making it readable for the 360, 360 only reads DVD-ROMS (i think)

And yet... another tutorial! It's all good though, because some of that stuff can be hard for others that don't know what Google or the search bar is!
You might want to remove those sites to get games from! Against forum rules to post sites, on where to get illegal material!

you dont open the iso, you open imgburn and load the iso to be burned.
and to help the OP out, its not

Mikeismad,
Could you please explain to me how to make an ISO of original game and what things are required to do that?. I know that I may need specific DVD drive flashed with Kreon firmware, but I own a pioneer DVR 111D and I was wondering if my pioneer could make ISO of original game. I can't find tutorial on making ISO from original game.

your 111d cannot make a backup of an original game. the only backups it can make is a backup of a backup or a 1:1 copy. like you stated, you need one of the 4ish samsung drives (or a sammy out of a 360, or the benq drive flashed with the 0800 FW) that can be flashed with the kreon FW in order to make your own backups.

okay, so to make a backup of original game, you actually need XBOX 360 DVD drive (Samsung or Benq). Not the ones that pc shops sell. Is that right?

Ok, so here's a question. What's with all this stealth stuff I'm reading about? I downloaded a game and watch videos of how to burn them and everyone is saying to do it right you have to extract the security sectors and whatever else they're calling it... then burn it.

suck on it

you can use the 360 drives, or you can buy a samsung pc dvd-ROM that is capable of being flashed with the kreon FW and use that.

stealth stuff ensures that you have the proper files to play the games on the newer FW (all the iextreme stuff). if you downloaded the game recently it is more than likely already patched. also, if you use either the 360 drive, or a kreon flashed samsung dvd-rom, it will be patched when the file is dumped. however, if you use the stupid old winxripper method, then you will have to obtain the SS PFI and DMI files and use SSmerger to combine those files into the main ISO file in order for it to boot.

Hi everyone, I have gone through the tutorial and everything is working dandy, however everytime I try and start a new game i.e new disk it doesnt load at first and have to reboot the console. Any opinions could this be caused by the Firmware?

I am using the burner that comes with my laptop, a Toshiba Satellite. It says that it is a Matshita and I was unable to select one of "book types" When I tried to write I got a message hinting that I should set the image option to UDF.
Does anyone know which of Plextor, Ricoh, Samsung, BenQ, LG, Lite-on, NEC, Nu Tech; I can tick?

If you follow NDarnkess'es tutorial Here, its more up-to date and you will not need to set book type.
Big up the Ndarnkness massive :D
