I'm using mkv2vob version 2.2.4, i've got a 1080p version of the Ant Bully bluray movie which for some reason when i use txmuxer to convert to M2TS i get sound but no picture, so i decided to use mkv2vob instead.

My setting on mkv2vob are as follows on vista 32bit edition

Video transcoding is set to AUTOMATIC
Output extension is set to M2TS
Transcoding codec is X264 (slow)
File splitting i have tried NONE/DVD9 & BLU RAY 25GB

With the above settings i get VARIOUS DIFFERENT FILE SIZES ONCE MKV2VOB HAS FINISHED TRANSCODING AND MUXING THE NEW FILE THEY VARY FROM 630MB TO JUST OVER 2GB!! Why cant i get roughly the same size of the original MKV file which is over 8GB??

Also when mkv2vob is transcoding the video it takes along time then i get a error message saying that mplayer has crashed, i then choose to close the mplayer programme then mkv2vob will start muxing the file, not sure if i am missing some form of codec?

I have also tried the mpeg2 output file extension but get very small file sizes, the movie will play in the PS3 but will freeze after about 20mins in each instance!!???

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
