You are the MAN staxx, thank you very much indeed, that last link worked a treat, i now have 3.71 m33-2, now i need to know what is the best cfw to have and where can i find it?

Glad to hear you got things working finally. Just in time for your daughter too i hope. I do have a paypal account, but dont worry about sending me anything...i just enjoy helping people to pass my boredom.

Should i be able to put iso staright onto ms now? where should i put them ?

Yup, just format your mem stick using your psp. It will create all the new folders for you. There will be an ISO folder located on the root of your memory stick, just drop the ISO games in that folder.

You might also want to change the umd settings to require no umd while playing iso/cso and homebrew. You can do this two ways...

1. While on your regular main psp screen (referred to as the xmb) press select. this will bring up the vsh menu. I believe its the last option in this menu, just keep hitting X until it changes to sony np9660.

2. While turning on your psp hold the R trigger to boot into the recovery menu. From here go into configurations and switch the umd driver to sony np9660.
