I just set this up and tried it with a 1080p mkv file I have, and it seems to work so far! And I didn't have to uninstall Tversity for it to work. Also, files that used to stutter using Tversity seem to work so far using this media server.

wow this works great!! it does not stutter anymore, only if the problem can play all files in a folder so I don't have to create divx files of my DVD folders

This looks interesting. The only drawback is that it requires a powerful PC and network, neither of which I have. Streaming is nice, but I still prefer converting mkv files into avchd. I like physical media over hard drive space.
