why not just update to the latest custom firmware? You can play all your isos with out having to use fast loader.

Phat PSP 1->MS Slot Dead.RIP
PSP SLIM->3.60->3.71->And with a lil bit of MAGIC->3.71M33->3.71M33-2->3.71M33-3->3.90M33->3.90M33-2->4.01M33-2

As bigcuz000 suggested you should update to custom firmware.

loaders like your using is out of date and is not compatible with the newer game ISO out there. HERE is a 1 stop guide that has steps to update all the way up to 5.00M33-3 custom firmware.

Cuz and Larry are right on point.

Updating to 5.00 CFW is the way to go.

Please note that the new current version is now 5.00 M33-4. I've uploaded all the files you need right here.

Just follow the instructions included and you'll be good to go.

You know I give you the mad, phat, superfly, stupid-dope, dumb-ass, retarded, bomb-sh*t props!
What else do you want from me!?!

Dark_Alex...mad love and thanks for giving this community so much and asking for so little.

Wow. That's odd. So you're saying your psp might have OFW 1.5 on it?

I won't lie. I don't know jack about firmware's below like...3.71 (think that's when I started).

I just went to Settings > System Settings > System Information

Mine says 5.00 M33-2. Wow! Totally forgot I was showing someone how to do this a long time ago and flashed it to M33-2. And here I thought I was on M33-3 this whole time :P I feel silly.

Anyway, what exactly does your system info say about system software? just 1.5? or 1.50 or something?

If this is 1.5 ofw, it's still hackable w/o a pandora battery or magic memory stick. 1.5 was the last version of firmware that sony had before they started implementing all those security protocols.

Worst case scenario is we'll have to get some feedback from some PSP veterans b/c, like I said, I have almost no knowledge on firmware this far back short of what I've read.

Looking forward to hearing back from ya.

If you have original 1.5 firmware on the PSP go to the link I provided and follow the guide. Start at the 1.50 firmware section and follow word for word.

You need to first update to 3.52 M33 before you can update to latest custom firmware. If you do not follow the instructions properly it will not work.

Thanks for posting that Larry. Really glad someone experienced with 1.5 was able to help.

I'll make it a point to read up on this stuff so I'm able to provide the same level of help you do ;)

Thanks again.
