As bigcuz000 suggested you should update to custom firmware.
loaders like your using is out of date and is not compatible with the newer game ISO out there. HERE is a 1 stop guide that has steps to update all the way up to 5.00M33-3 custom firmware.
hi guys, thanks for the responses, i have downloaded the ver5 from neonmako and it comes up with the message 'the game could not be started' ?? do i need to upgrade to different versions to get to the latest ?? i know the firmware is 1.5 but not sure if its original firmware ??
Wow. That's odd. So you're saying your psp might have OFW 1.5 on it?
I won't lie. I don't know jack about firmware's below like...3.71 (think that's when I started).
I just went to Settings > System Settings > System Information
Mine says 5.00 M33-2. Wow! Totally forgot I was showing someone how to do this a long time ago and flashed it to M33-2. And here I thought I was on M33-3 this whole time :P I feel silly.
Anyway, what exactly does your system info say about system software? just 1.5? or 1.50 or something?
If this is 1.5 ofw, it's still hackable w/o a pandora battery or magic memory stick. 1.5 was the last version of firmware that sony had before they started implementing all those security protocols.
Worst case scenario is we'll have to get some feedback from some PSP veterans b/c, like I said, I have almost no knowledge on firmware this far back short of what I've read.
If you have original 1.5 firmware on the PSP go to the link I provided and follow the guide. Start at the 1.50 firmware section and follow word for word.
You need to first update to 3.52 M33 before you can update to latest custom firmware. If you do not follow the instructions properly it will not work.
