hey guys, not done the replay in a while, i have the latest GT rom loader 4.03, and have extracted new fix to desktop. When i select the file and check (tick) app file only , i then click on download and get the error :model name does not correct? what am i doing wrong guys, pls help, been ages since i tried the replay. thanks again.
lol SORRY, just realised i use the stb link, what one do i use?? the latest one i see was a may release, is that correct?

Use stb link 5.32, but the new replay lite firmware isn't autoupdating and has gone back to be corrected, so i wouldn't use it for now.

I have just been informed that this fix is not working in Ireland or in the UK, so please don't download it for now. Sorry.
Will let people know as soon as any more information is available.

my box is still down so doing an auto channel search 6887 64 QAM , is that right? i aint got a clue at all ha

Sorry, you could try watching it down the pub! ;)
Doing an auto scan won't do you any good at the moment, the replay lites aren't autorolling, the only thing that will work for you is manual input.
Do any of your friends that live locally to you have starviews etc., have they got their boxes fixed. If they do, they can give you what you need.

yeah looks like the pub it is. i will try it manually and see what happens, the autoscan is picking up the channels, however i doubt it will store them.. thanks for the help. apologies for all nthe posts im new to this

Hi guys I've just noticed that I don't have sly sports 1 or 2. Maybe the channel freq has changed I don't know to be honest. I have all other channels but just noticed now I'm missing them 2 stations. What is the best way for me to rescan for them. Do I need to delete these first and then do a rescan ? If so is there a certain freq i should start at ?

Are you n*l dublin? If so, do a manual scan on frequency 315 and 355.5. Make sure you are on symbol rate 6887
|

Cheers Eva that did work. The only problem is now I seem to be missing quite a few stations such as CH*,BB*,U*V and prob some more. I've been using a channel dump from the library. In ur opinion do you think I should manually scan for all the station I'm missing or do a whole new rescan. Thing is I don't know how to do that :(
Also is there a channel editor like with the starview for the replay lite?

You can do an auto scan, if you are n*l dublin do it on symbol rate 6887 from 100 to 999. Might take a while.
There is no up to date channel dump available sorry. Yes you can edit the channels, hit menu, channel manager, tv channel, edit, move.

Cheers Eva, after a couple of scans I got all channels back so that's great :) I know you can use the channel manager to move them about but I was wondering if there was a channel editor about for the reply lite to use via the pc to save time and patience :) as similar to the Starview one. I done some googling and there doesnt seem to be :(

Hi, I'm leaving all attempts at a firmware update until all's ok, but something a bit weird happenned. I know that a few channels have gone walkabout, particularly some of the sports ones. I also can't find a couple s*y ones such as real etc. But I found a completely different channel in the radio section? I renamed it, but any ideas on how to get it onto the main tv channel list? Ta

No need for the Caps!
If you have ended up with a red light only it's more than likely because you disconnected the box before the flash was fully completed.
Remember, when you finish a successful flash you should wait until you see the light on the box flashing really quickly from green to red (Much faster than normal) you must wait for this or you will end up as you did.
Remember to be patient next time.
Here's what you need to do.
Download STBlink 5.20
Download Firmware 742a
Use STBlink to flash the box with 724a (Just load the software don't do the Setup COM)
Remember to wait for the fast flashing lights.
Then flash again with 910 & again wait!
Everything you need can be got from Eamos in my Sig.
