Hi i've tried to find info on this forum but i cant find anything that is specific to my prob, so sorry if someone has asked this before but i've been at this for 2 weeks and im going mad.
I am trying to put 2 movies onto 1 DVD, I have Re-Authored 1 of the DVD's using DVD shrink and choose the AC3 2ch and using TMPGEnc DVD Author i have loaded it with everything looking fine. Re-Authoring the other DVD on Shrink in Re-Author mode i noticed that i could only choose AC3 5.1ch. When i load it onto TMPGEnc DVD Author at the select title part it says below that the audio to use for selected title is AC3 6ch and not the AC3 5.1ch i selected in DVD Shrink. I then click next/OK and at the part where it shows the loaded file the audio input format part says There is no audio. Do i need to convert the AC3 5.1ch to AC3 2ch for TMPGENc to accept it or something. Sorry if this is a bit long winded explanation but any help would be greatfully appreciated as im going bald pulling all my hair out.

hi there

you could rip to 2 separate folders one for each film! then rename the second lot of vobs in sequence after the first set! then place all vobs in its own VIDEO_TS folder IE:

xxx_1.vob\ 1 folder
xxx_2.vob/

xxx_3.vob\
xxx_4.vob/ 2 folder

then use ifoedit to make ifo bups

if film is over 4.36gig then reload all to dvd shrink to get the auto compression and burn!

2 films on dvd

but i suppose you want chapter pionts like tmpgenc makes so you can select them them with your dvd remote?

you can load 1 folders film in tmpgenc with add video button then do the same with 2 folder! and create your chapters!

so you will need to sort the sound out!

not sure with your audio though?

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Cheers Rotary and ScubaPete for your help much appreciated. I have got round the problem by de-crypting the DVD's 1st into seperate folders then inputing the files into TMPGEnc DVD then using DVD Shrink to shrink the size to fit on 1 DVD as regards to getting round the audio prob in TMPGEnc. Im gonna play around with it later but this looks the best bet just now. Cheers again Guys.
