Ps3 to LG 26" LCD Resolution

I connected my Ps to my new LCD LG 26LG30R which is HD REady
and let the Ps3 configure the best Resolution Automatically.
Tha Picture is good but not as same as on my 32" viera lCD

I know that is normal but i read that the Ps will configure to 1080i instead of 740p so is there actually a way i can get better Quality or shoul i just leave the Setting as it is configured by the PS .

And how can i change it

Is your LG TV capable of 1080p? if not, that may be why the picture doesnt look as good as on your other TV (if that is capable of full HD.

The TV is HD Ready it is not Full HD but it "supports" 1080p!!!

It likely downscales it but you wont actually get the 1080 resolution, I'd reccomend manually turning it to 720p under settings in display.

I looked up the setting and it was mentioned that the display is 1080p ??
so probably ur right cack i will set it to 720 thank u
