Is there any way to conver PS3 Virtual Memory Card saves from PAL to NTSC or from Max Drive to PS3 VMC? Also is there any other good site to get ps2 save files besides gamefaqs.com?
1.) No. The games are region-locked, so the saves are likewise region-locked. At least I think so.
2.) If you want to convert from Max Drive to VMC, you'll have to have a modded PS2 with some amount of differing hard and software. Or you can ask someone to do it for you. I think ooZEROoo can convert it for you.
3.) I haven't found any good sites, but then again, I haven't done a lot of save-finding. There are a bunch of threads asking for sites, but the links I've seen have led to dead sites.
Thanks, I will probably just get an AR Max drive and convert them myself. Max Drive saves are easier to fnd, in both Pal and NTSC. So I will just uncrush and use the PS3/PS2 memory card adapter.

Thats all I do. I find a save in max format, uncrush it to my memory card , then use the memory card adapter.
You can convert PS3 virtual memory card saves from PAL to NTSC but it's a long process.
You have to have a PS2 to PS3 memory card adaptor, codebreaker or ARMax and a PC with ps2 save builder 08x or whichever version is out now. You also need the region code of the both versions of the game. Eg, FFXII NTSC is SLUS 20963 for one of the versions and the PAL version might be SLES 54354.
First put the save onto the PS3 via usb. then convert it to PS2 using the memory card adapter. Then use whatever means whether codebreaker or ARMAX to put it onto usb in the codebreaker or ARMAX format.
Load the save on your PC in PS2 save builder 08x then rename the saves Root ID and Filename from one regions code to the Region you want it in. Then save it. Move it back to codebreaker or ARMAX and uncrush it or convert it back to ps2 memory card. Then use the adaptor to put the save back onto the PS3.
