Converting DTS audio to a sutiable format for my PS3

I am having trouble getting DTS audio files to play on my PS3.

Currently I use TSmuxer to convert my video files to m2ts files. I can only get the audio to work if they are already in AC3 format.

My problem is the videos that I download are usually in DTS audio format. I cannot seem to figure out a way to down convert the audio so it will play on my PS3. I have tried to do it using TSmuxer with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use eac3to and eac3toGUI. The first time you use the GUI you'll need to configure the eac3to path... do the from the settings tab.

Download eac3to from here, not the Afterdawn link.

Download eac3toGUI from here

Unzip the eac3to file. Unzip the eac3toGUI file and place in the eac3to folder. Open eac3toGUI, Settings, Eac3to location, locate eac3to, OK.

1. Load your DTS file
2. Output should be set to AC3
3. Set the AC3 bitrate to 640 kb/s
4. Convert.

Done... Good luck.
