Hey i just wanted to check to see what software most people are using to convert their dvds to play on their hd of their ps3. I want to know what you have tried and what you are sticking with? (badaboomit, ripbot,handbrake, nero etc etc) Also what codec/container? I am looking for info specific to the ps3. Right now im trying these

dvdfab,nero 8, handbrake,ripbot and badaboomit(using mp4 containers)

I am using DVD Shrink to rip the dvd to an ISO and from there I am using the latest version of Handbrake to convert it to an MPEG4. Works perfectly and I don't have to worry about my kids ruining their DVD's by scratching them anymore.

MeGUI, thee finest X264 converter available, completely free with updates regularly, use nothing else.

I use MeGUI and x264 to process my HD content... I too use nothing else.

BTW, the codecs used in DVD are already compatible with the PS3. So other than space savers you do not need to convert, just remux... this should only take minutes as opposed to hours converting.
