Kevcle, Did the supplier of your new STB confirm that this was a direct replacement for the Eurovox TX and would work in your area?

did you get digivox to work in kilkenny? and how?
hi cwkk ,no luck. cactikid reckons digivox t isnt suitable for mmds through a communal cable feed. only suitable for mmds from aerial on roof. still not sure of this or which box exactly is suitable. saw your earlier posts did you have any luck with your digivox t.
hi kevcle, no luck yet, i'm following you guys.best of luck with it.

Try a manuall scan on the box and see what you get try a freq like 250.000 and move up in increments of 8mhz and see do you get anything
also make sure the cable is in the ANT input on the top right looking from the front of the box
also make sure you enable the ant power before doing any scan

Hi Fergusrb. Thanks for your support. Tried suggestion, observing all your search criteria, still no luck. Keep seeing "No signal" Cannot understand this as the signal is there when accessing service providers TV schedule

yep your defo on MMDS so
you will need to go to the lowest freq and move up in 8mhz at a time to try and find some channel once you find one you will find the rest trial and error thats all i can say
try both of the ANT inputs on the box as there are 2 on that box

Hi Fergusrb, Back again. Tried both input connections in increments of 8 MHz. No success. On manual scan noticed that the channel number on the top line of the manual scan menu(Channel Numbers 4-15)kept disappearing once I entered numbers outside those assigned i.e. Selected Channel 4, 218.000 MHz assigned to this channel, once I incremented this up by 8 channel number read CH---. Is this OK?

Try a manual scan via 506, 514, 522, 530, 538 mhz and so on for Kilkenny.

Will do
Got a response from the supplier and they asked if anyone in the Kilkenny area could provide information on at least one frequency from an existing working Eurovox TX stb. His suggestion is that once this is known then those experiencing the "No signal" "No channels found" should add it to a manual scan and see what happens.

hi guys.dont want to sound silly but is it possible that your supplier could have changed from terrestrial mmds to cable mmds without changing their own box

i had box powered off for a good while[overnight], firmware pre loaded [v03.30000t],coax in antenna not antenna in,put antenna power on, then went to manual scan starting with 506 mhz, wait for signal level and quality percentages to rise at bottom of screen[somewhere between 70 or 80%, only then ok.continue this right thru other values stated above and then after some channels found go sys info,1004,key emu to on, then all channels should be there.as some seniors said above its trial and error.keep trying ,best of luck.

firmware is made for 1 box only it is not universal,dvb/t firmware is different than dvb/c so do not use it,correct box needed for correct signal.
